Accurately remove and sieve out undersized pistachio particles
The main objective of this project was very specific:
to accurately remove and sieve out undersized pistachio particles of approximately 3 mm, ensuring that these unwanted fragments do not end up in the final product stream.
For many food producers, consistency and product quality are becoming increasingly important. Small particles or broken nut fragments can negatively affect the appearance, texture, further processing steps, and overall quality perception of the final product. This makes precise sizing and separation an essential part of modern food processing lines.
During the test, the STC and Urschel teams worked closely together to optimize the process setup and evaluate the separation efficiency. The results were extremely promising. The system demonstrated highly accurate screening performance while maintaining excellent product handling and throughput capacity.
